June 12th 2013
Braden left for the Madrid Spain MTC on Jun 11th at 8:31 in the morning, he flew from Salt Lake to New York and then he arrived in Madrid  on June 12th at 9:15 in the morning local Madrid time.

Here is the first email we received from him this morning, keep in mind he has been awake, of and on for more than 24 hours.

"...so after i left you at the airport I sat down for a little at my terminal after a while my group showed up and we hung out had some Jamba Juice and got to know each other. after about an hour our plane started boarding and we flew to JFK a lot of people on the plane kept coming up to us asking us where we were going and how we were doing. I slept through the drinks so that kinda sucked. the lay over at JFK was really boring there wasn´t a lot to do. i had some Panda Express and then just before we left another group headed to our mtc caught up with us. the plane started boarding we got on ate dinner i fell asleep again Elder Hyatt was out soon after i was and stayed that way so he´s in better shape than me and my MTC companion Elder Erickson everyone has been drifting in and out of sleep during oreintation. they don´t mind so much which is great but they do promt us to stay awake so that we can get right on the Schedule. I´m good its hard though because they are very adamant that as much as can be said in Spanish will be. there are only fifty people here so it is nice to not be overwhelmed like I imagine it is at the Provo MTC and i can´t exacly say that it´s been spiritual becuase every second is spent nodding off or somwhere in between awake and asleep, but that´s to be expected. that´s all for this time

Love you all
Braden"
